BattleBots is a great spot to see technology and destruction combined into a good time. To demonstrate, this is especially geared toward engineering geeks. A very good production. You will find BattleBots on Koval, down the street from the Sphere and across the street from Ellis Island ( 4165 Koval Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89109 ).
Firstly, entering the lobby area there are a lot of battle bots on display. In addition, there is a merchandise and refreshment area. Even more, including a bar area.
Also, The bots are all set up on display for everyone to see. Plus, there are interactive displays too.
As you enter the arena area, you go past the production area. It is very impressive how the entire operation is done. Extremely professional set up. The entire visit was bigger and better than I had expected.
Nevertheless, there is plenty of seating. For example, the evening we went the place filled up for the show. In fact, there is even a VIP section for seating. Indeed, it is up on the glass and has a hostess service. I could envision this would be great spot for a true geeks birthday party.
Once again, I was very impressed with the entire production of the show. There are many different hosts, drivers and engineers. That is, there are several rounds of battle with the winner progression on to the main event.
In the beginning, BattleBot founder Trey comes out for a questions and answer session. This was very interesting to hear all the experiences from previous battles. I actually enjoyed listening to Trey talk as much as the actual battles.

Without doubt, I thought one of the best moments was when they brought in the “slot machine bot”. This allows everyone to enact revenge on these machine. The poor Slot Bot stood no chance. Within seconds it was destroyed in to many little pieces.
Granted everything happens inside a bullet proof arena. But this is expected and appreciated after you see the explosions, smoke, and especially the flying shrapnel flying around during battles. Also, there is paid parking when you visit.
In conclusion, if you want to see a unique show featuring BattleBots destruction, you wont want to miss out. I personally found the entire show to be better than expected. This is a must visit if you are slightest bit interested in technology. Most importantly, who doesnt like seeing things get destroyed? I know I did.
