Balloon Glow is a wonderful Hot Air Balloon Fest. This is a great community event that allows up close access to hot air balloons. Lots of activities and vendors. Lots of open space, but be sure to bring either a blanket or chair. Located in North Las Vegas at Craig Ranch Park ( 628 W Craig Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89032 ).
To start, there were plenty of vendors included in the fest. You can get things ranging from clothing and hats to other odds and ends. In addition, there were food vendors, which were popular with everyone. Also there are beer vendors to keep the grown up happy.
There is even a kids area with slides and other blow up things. Plus a climbing wall for the grown up kids in the crowds. Balloons and Laser shows, what more could you ask for?
To demonstrate, once the balloon inflation started things got exciting. People gathered around the individual balloons to watch the entire process. Starting with the unpacking of the balloons. Watching the staff use huge fans to start the filling of the balloons. Finally in the end, the flaming of the balloons to provide the final lift.

Moreover, the best experience is how close up to the entire process you can get. Everyone was extremely friendly and nice. Most importantly, you can get a tethered balloon ride if you pay a flight. A great experience I bet.
Surprisingly, I learned about Cameron Balloons of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Cameron is one of the most respected, premier balloon manufacturers in the world. Being able to get up close and seeing that gear adds an extra layer of appreciation for the craftsmanship behind the aircraft.
In conclusion, this is a great event to attend. I highly recommend it if you have never seen a balloon show. Even though the balloons never leave, it is a sight to see. I know I will return.
