Silverado Ranch Park is a great community park because of all different things that can be done here. This place is a great spot to get out and enjoy a wonderful day. To illustrate, the area is very well maintained and is great condition. Likewise, a short walk from South Point Casino and next door to the Silverado Ranch Community Center. You can find the park on Silverado Ranch Blvd and Gilespie. ( 9855 Gilespie St, Las Vegas, NV 89183 ).
Firstly, this park has lots of grass and shady tree. A perfect spot to get out and enjoy a wonderful day and get fresh air outside. For the reason, there are lots of benches scattered through out the park. Next, there are many paths that go throughout the park that allow for some nice walking area.
Secondly, there is a large area that is set up for a dog park. This area allows for you to take your dog out and allow them off the lease in a confined area. To demonstrate, the day I went there were a bunch of friends in the small dog (35 lbs and less) area with their dogs. In addition there is a Large dog area for the big ones.
Also, there are several playgrounds in the park. Plenty of space to run around and climb on the bars. The best part is the playground has a foam ground to cushion and falls.
Most importantly, this park has several softball and baseball fields. Everything is very well taken care of. Because the local little league baseball use these fields.
Silverado Ranch Park
In addition, there are several pergola throughout the park. There is a very big one in the center. Plus, a few smaller ones scattered about. They all have picnic benches and trash cans. I even saw a couple of bbq pits.
If all of that was not enough, there is even a basketball court. It is in a pentagon shape which allows for five different basketball hoops. Right next to the basketball court is a horseshoe pit too.
Moreover, there is a skateboard part too. I bet it would be a fun spot to hang out if you skateboard. There is lot of space with plenty of rails to do your tricks on.
If I were to find any fault with this place is the parking lot. Even though the day I went there were plenty of open spots. But, be fore warned that if you go on a weekend or holiday on a beautiful day the parking lot will get full. I have seen this several times.
In conclusion, Silverado Ranch Park is a great spot to hang out outside. Enjoy a picnic, baseball game, or just walk the dog. The area is very well taken care of. I always enjoy myself. I guarantee you will too. Lastly, you can get more information on Clark County Parks site.
