Cashman Field a wonderful locals sport venue with lots of history. I remember Cashman as a baseball field and watching the 51s. Then there after that, watch soccer games for the Las Vegas Lights. This was a fun visit and definitely a locals event. A short distance from Fremont Street Experience. It is located on Las Vegas Blvd next to The Neon Museum ( 850 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101 ).

Some history information. This site opened back in 1947 hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers. Shortly there after the it was named Cashman for a prominent Nevada leader. During 50 through 70s the venue had rodeo, boxing, and football. The venue was updated 1983-2018 and the Las Vegas 51s played before switch to The Ball Park and Aviators. Finally, the arena was used for minor league soccer and the Las Vegas Lights.

I remember going to the 51s games and was a great time prior to the aviators. It was always a fun time. I especially remember one game where there was a lot of rain and everyone was behind home plate seating under cover from the rain.
Cashman Field

After the 51s left there were plenty of Las Vegas Lights games. I was fortunate to go to the very first Lights game at Cashman. Plus, the very last game at the venue. Las Vegas Lights soccer was always fun to watch. There were some good games and some bad games.

This was a wonderful venue for Las Vegas. There was always a game going and it was very affordable. Ultimately, the final call was Oct 17 2026. Unfortunately, the Lights loss. There was a very nice fireworks show too.

Eventually, the entire site will be turned into a large housing site with over 700 homes.

In conclusion, I have been to Cashman many times. A wonderful local venue where you can see a live sporting event without the enormous expense. Everything was very affordable. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a game. Lastly, you can get more information on Cashman Field site.
