This was my first time visiting. I have had many times before Vietnamese Banh Mi in California. So I wanted to give this place a try. In addition, I saw they had Banh Mi Bo Kho, one of my most favorite soups. So I wanted to give this place a try.

Unfortunately, when I arrived I learned this establishment was out of a lot items. The day I tried this place out is was lacking in a lot of items on their menu. Specifically they did not have the Mi Bo Kho. Ironically, the only other person wanted the same item. I guess we were both a little disappointed.

Carrot Daikon Sandwich

To demonstrate, I ordered a Crispy Pork Belly. This was a very good sandwich. The pork was tasty. I especially liked the crispy pork skin. The pork rinds added a extra texture to the sandwich. The Banh Mi was very good. Extra crisp crust and soft interior. Then of course, the pickled carrot daikon took it over the top. I very much enjoyed it.

I know you I will return to try another sandwich. I also want to give them another try so I can taste the soup. The entire reason I went in the first place. Also, the bread can be bought on it own. If you are look for good bread, give this a try.

Likewise, I wanted to try a spring roll. So I tried the Poke and Shrimp Spring Roll. But once again, they were out of the peanut sauce. I received a substitute sauce in it place. But the peanut sauce would have made it that much better. But, I must say the spring rolls were very good. I would eat them again.

In conclusion, if you want to try a Vietnamese sandwich, give Carrot Daikon a try. You will not be disappointed. I know I will return to try another banh mi. I especially want to try the Mi Bo Kho. Lastly, you can get more information on Carrot Daikon site.
