Lesters Deli is a wonderful new sandwich deli. The first location outside of Canada, serving up fine authentic Montreal smoked meat. A good spot to enjoy a good smoked meat sandwich. Located on Horizon Ridge a block away from Ventano Italian Grill ( 1590 W Horizon Ridge Pkwy #170, Henderson, NV 89012 ).
To demonstrate, this is a wonderful deli / sandwich shop. There are many little tables to sit down at to enjoy your lunch. This place keeps busy but there is space to enjoy your eats.
First off, there is a small menu to pick from. About a half dozen sandwiches to select from. Couple sides. And a few more Poutine selections.
Most importantly, everything is made fresh to order. Slicing and building sandwiches as they are ordered.
Lesters Deli Sandwiches
For example, The Montreal Classic is smoked meat with yellow mustard on a seeded rye bread. Served with a side of signature coleslaw. I very much enjoyed their slaw. In the future I will be getting a side of slaw to get my fill.
Additionally, Le Ruben is smoked meat, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, spicy brown mustard, and house made Russian dressing on marble rye bread.
Lesters Deli Poutine is best if eaten right away, in house. French fries with house made gravy with cheese curds. The meat Poutine is topped with the smoked meat. This is extremely filling and is a meal in its own.
Likewise, all the sandwiches come with a side of the house coleslaw. I enjoy a good slaw and I thought this was very good. I just wanted more slaw. Also, I want to return to try the Le Marice. This sandwich is smoked meat, swiss cheese, creamy coleslaw and house Russian dressing on marble rye bread.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a good filling sandwich, be sure to check out this place. I really enjoyed my sandwich. There was plenty to fill you up. The signature coleslaw is good too.
