Grumpy
Corduroy is a cool little bar on East Fremont Street. Everyone at work always talks about this place so I had to go and try it out. Centrally located and is literally three doors down from Le Thai. This is a fun spot and you should try to stop by for a visit.( 515 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101 )
To demonstrate, as you enter there is a large bar area with several booth and a long bar. Behind the bar is a cool water display. For that reason, I bet some people could stare at that thing all night long. On the back wall there are a lot of speakers and reel to reel. Thus, these all appear to be relics of the past.
In addition, they have a DJ set up right by the entrance. For example, the evening I went there were a lot of 80s music being played. There were quite a few people hanging out and enjoying the music.
Additionally beyond the entrance area, past the shuffle board table, there is a seating area with surround booth seating with little tables for drinks. A perfect spot for a party group to hang out.
In similar fashion, in the very back is a blue light room with a big mural of mushrooms and a wizard. Naturally, this could be a fun spot to hang out.
Corduroy Bingo
To clarify, the main reason I know about Corduroy is the Boozy Bingo. They play this on Thursday night. I most certainly will have to check this out. Undoubtedly, I have been told this is the place to be on bingo night.
In conclusion, walk a block east of Fremont Street Experience to this bar and relax with a drink. Likewise, they have music playing and lots of space to sit. Specifically, remember Thursday night bingo. Lastly, more information on Corduroy site.
