Oktoberfest Downtown is located in Fremont East section which is next to the Fremont Street Experience. For example, there are several blocks of street closed down to accommodate the fest. It is out font of the local spots. Corduroy and Le Thai. In addition, this is a fun event to attend. Moreover, free to get in and check out the crowds all dressed up in German outfits. For example, there was a lot space to get out and about. In addition, there is even a beer tent to sit down and enjoy your beer or food. There are also lots of little stand up tables scattered through out the fest grounds.
To demonstrate, all the beer is purchased with BeirMark. Likewise, you can use credit card to purchase food and more BeirMarks. However, the beer menu was not that big and was lacking in my opinion. The only brand was Sam Adams. Notwithstanding, it would have been nice to have had a German beer too.
Oktoberfest Downtown Food
Specifically, all the food look delicious. In short, you could have picked from cheese curds, pretzel, sausage, and schnitzel. Furthermore. there were big servings for everything.

In similar fashion, you could participate in the hammer and nail driving. In addition, there was keg bowling. There was also a little area where a few merchants were selling various things.
Also, there were two stages with music. The band was very good playing a mix of well known hits and classic Germany fest music.
Accordingly, I was really surprised by how many people showed up dressing the part. The ladies were all dress in the Bavarian dress, with lots of men wearing the lederhosen.
