The Front Yard is a fun spot to grab some food and watch some sports. There are plenty of TVs around and a big menu to select from. The staff is friendly and very helpful. You can find The Front Yard inside Ellis Island Casino, across the street from Battle Bots.
To illustrate, The Front Yard is almost enclosed seating area. There is lots of light from the outside. It also can get warm on a really hot day. There are lots of fans through out to help keep things cool when needed.
For example there are lots of drinks. Mega Cocktails containing 50 oz of goodness. Plenty of draft beers too. All their beers are brewed by Silver Reef. They are owned by Ellis Island. They even make their own Root Beer.
They have a fairly large menu. All day breakfast. Salads, Burgers and Sandwiches, Shareables.To demonstrate, I tried some of the smalls. For example, Kalbi root beer ribs, Pork Belly Bites, Pork Belly Bao.
The Front Yard Food
My friends ordered the Charcuterie, with the Pulled Pork sandwich and the BLT. Everyone enjoyed their food and service.
In contrast, I found the atmosphere to be wonderful for watching sports. I just wish the food was just as good.. I thought my options were average and the Pork Belly Bao sub par. To demonstrate the Bao bun was very dried out.
As a result, this can be a wonderful spot to grab a drink and some food while watching sports. The drink are good, and the food is average.
I will have to return on a football Sunday to check out the vibe.
