Top Sushi and Oyster is a good spot to get your sushi fill. This place is fairly big and allows plenty of room for sitting. Specifically, the selection here is huge. Even more, they are famous for the All You Can Eat. Located across the street from the South Point Casino. Located near The Vikings Boiling Seafood and Pelicana Chicken at Silverado Promenade ( 9830 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89183 ).

Most importantly, this place is run like clock work. From the second you walk in to the very end of your meal. There are several people walking around with a tablets in which you can order during your stay.

Also, there is another set of people that run the food from the kitchen to the table. Lastly, another group of people are always busting tables. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was my first time and they made my visit fun. Furthermore, the establishment is clean and I liked the decor with the Japanese Cherry Blossom Tree.

For example, the day I went it was in the middle of the week around 1pm. Therefore, I wanted to try the lunch special all you can eat. Priced at $31, this is a really good deal. If you were to add all the individual items it would be well over that price point.

In other words, the best part about the all you can eat, it frees you up to try almost everything on the menu. This includes not only the nigiri, but the appetizers, soup, salad, dessert, classic rolls, and deep fried roll.

To demonstrate, I started off with Miso Soup and a large Sapporo. The soup was very good and I know I would always get this upon return. The Sapporo was great to have to help wash down all the sushi to come.

After the warm up, I proceeded to try the nigiri. The very first thing I noticed was the pieces are very small compared to what I would typically expect. However, I will say the ratio of rice to fish is great. Specifically, under each piece is a marble size rice ball.

Of course, my first selection was the salmon and tuna. I have had better tuna elsewhere.
Huge Selection

Secondly, I got the Eel, Spicy Octopus, and Salmon Egg. The spicy octopus was very tasty and not to spicy but the right level. Third, I ordered the Mackerel, Shrimp, and Red Snapper. These were good.

Lastly, I finished my niiri with more Salmon, Tuna, and Eel. Beyond the nigiri, I wanted to try the traditional California Roll. I got the half order of four pieces. Once again, I have had better in other establishments.

I also wanted to try the deep fried roll, specifically, the Lobster Special. It does say “Must Try”. I will say I was very pleased that I did order this. In fact, this crispy lobster, cream cheese, avocado was very tasty. Of course, I highly recommend this.

By the same token, be sure to save room for dessert. I wanted to try the Green Tea Mochi. It was good!
In conclusion, if you are looking for a fun time and a large variety give this place a try. Subsequently, I very much enjoyed myself. The food was good. I know I will be returning with friends to enjoy the experience with. Lastly, you can find more information on Top Sushi and Oyster site.
