The Vikings Boiling Seafood is a good spot to visit if you are looking for some great seafood. There is a big selection. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There is plenty of seating. The facilities are nice and clean. In the same area as Pelicana Chicken. Located across the street from South Point Casino. ( 9770 S Las Vegas Blvd #100, Las Vegas, NV 89183 )
The atmosphere here is very Viking of course. There is a big Viking ship where the seating booths are. Also, there is a big lighthouse. Furthermore, floors are all blue and water like. In addition, the top of the store is a sunset skyline. It is a fun theme setup.
To Demonstrate, this place has a large selection of appetizers. Everything from Fries, Calamari, Zucchini, Onion Rings, Soft Shell Crab, and Baby Octopus to name a few.
For example, this establishment offers an all you can eat. Basically you get two hours to get your seafood on. There are no to go with this deal. Any left overs they charge you for it. If you are going to get the All You Can Eat, everyone at the table must participate. Basically, order little by little and you will be fine. You can try whatever you like.
The Vikings Boiling Seafood Dinner
To demonstrate, I ordered the Calamari. They were very tasty. In addition, it came with marinara sauce and lemon. I enjoyed these a lot.
To illustrate, the day I went I ordered the Shrimp Lover. This order comes with two pounds of shrimp. I selected the Garlic Butter with a spicy level of medium. The medium was just enough to get me sweating but not to overbearing. Of course I got my shrimp with head on. To remove them is an extra ten dollars. Plus that is where all the flavor is. In addition there are two pieces of corn and two baby red potato.
Furthermore, this would be a great spot to go out with friends. Maybe even a food seafood party spot to enjoy all the others in your world. Moreover, I know I will return any time someone asks for a seafood boil spot.
Most importantly, the service was excellent. They were very patient and helpful. Explaining everything on the menu. Besides all the help with the ordering, they even pack up all your leftovers in bags for you to take home with you. In fact, I personally found the shrimp lover deal to be a good deal. Of course, very tasty!
However, the only thing I would say negatively, is it is kinda expensive. But you get what you pay for. The other thing is, it is very messy eating. Though, they offer gloves. Dont wear your favorite shirt, you are bound to get something on it.
