Hoover Dam Lodge

The Hover Dam Lodge is a great place to stay to get a jump on your day adventures. The proximity to Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Tillman Bridge and nearby trail heads make it perfect spot to stay. It is located right off the highway near the state line with Arizona (18000 US-93, Boulder City, NV 89005).

Comparatively, Hoover Dam Lodge is affordable versus strip prices. Here is the Hoover Dam Lodge site.

In Contrast, Hoover Dam Lodge does not offer much up for amenities. There is a 24 / 7 store. You have to drive to Boulder City for anything not found in the store, just a few miles away.

For example some nearby trails : Historic Railroad (This trail is great for both walking and biking on), Gold Strike Hot Springs

Likewise, Lake Mead Visitor Center is just down the road. Additionally the entrance to the lake. There is plenty of parking at Hoover Dam Lodge to accommodate parking for any size vehicles and trailers.

Important to realize, I was lucky when I went. I booked the Deluxe Suite Lakeview. It was a very nice room. Nice view, spacious, big bathroom, with microwave and refrigerator.

Finally, I want to mention Blazin Paddles is located in the lobby. This provides a early morning meeting point. Otherwise, you would need to arrange early pickup. This was the reason I stayed here. I did the full day excursion from the base of Hoover Dam to Willow Beach.
