Grumpy
The Usual Place is a music venue / bar / lounge. They have a very busy schedule of events. The evening I went I heard new music from three bands. The Usual Place has a small cover charge of $20 but it is well worth it to get in and listen to new and unique music from up and coming bands. You can find The Usual Place downtown on Fremont Street and Maryland (100 S Maryland Pkwy suite 110, Las Vegas, NV 89101).
The Usual Place Bar
The Usual Place is a rather small venue, the size of a typical bar with lots of open space. The evening I went there was a three band lineup. There are a few spots to sit but you will want to arrive early to grab your spot. Eventually the place fills up and there is only standing room. In addition, The Usual Place has a full bar. For example, two beer and a soda cost me $21.
Eventually when it was time to play, Spring Breeding was the opening band. Because The Usual Place is a small venue, it allow you to get up close to the band. I found the sound system descent and not to loud and over bearing. I enjoyed the Spring Breeding band. Especially, when the songs were over the drummer always let you know by saying “Thank you”.
Secondly, Spoon Benders played. I personally found them to be just ok. I enjoyed Spring Breeding much more enjoyable. Spoon Benders had an interesting sound.
Lastly, Frankie and the WitchFingers played. They were definitely the more professional band of the entire group. Their music was good. There was a huge crowd that gathered to listen in.

Additionally, I believe I heard the master of ceremonies mention that they broadcast the concerts live online. I don’t remember the specifics. If you know let me know where that spot is located.
Furthermore, there is usually a food truck parked outside in the parking lot. They have all kinds of Mexican treats for sell.
