Circa Resort and Casino

Circa Resort and Casino is one of the newest casinos in downtown Fremont Street. It has all the amenities that all the major casinos provide. For example, the Stadium Swim is a huge lure with one impressive swimming area. In addition to the pool, Circa boasts the worlds largest sports book. Adjacent to the Fremont Street experience, you can find Circa downtown (8 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101).

Circa Resort and Casino is the downtown hotel to stay in. The modern establishment exceeds all others on Fremont Street.

As a matter of fact, whenever I stay downtown I book with the Circa. Notably, because this is a new hotel it has all the modern bells and whistles. Most other downtown casinos and hotels are over a decade or two old. Because Circa is new, I find it to be cleaner than most and much more modern and spacious than the rest.

Sports Book

Circa boasts the worlds largest sports book. This is obvious by the large and spacious area. Consisting of 3 story tall views. Here you can see the huge screen with 78 million pixels. On the top level there is a long line of games you can play while watching the many different sporting events. In addition, you can reserve seating for special events below. But of course this comes with a price.

Below, on the first floor you will find all the gaming tables. Above, on the second floor you will find more machines. For instance, I like playing on the craps machine near the Overhang bar. They are usually open and I seem to have good luck there.

Circa Pool

Moreover, you can not talk about Circa without mentioning the Stadium Swim. From the second floor you take a set of escalator up to heaven. After going through security you exit out to a huge swimming area on the roof. Consisting of four large pools with a couple of hot tubs. There is plenty of seating areas but they all must be reserved and comes with a fee.

For special occasions may I suggest renting a cabana. The cabanas can be a little expensive but invite your friends. First, the cabana can provide a relief from the hot sun. Secondly, it a great spot away from others and a excellent view. Lastly you have direct access to a pool just steps from you cabana door. The cabana comes with food and beverage service.

Circa Rooms

The Circa rooms are clean and provide a great place to sleep. Nonetheless, it can be very noisy in your room from the sounds coming from the pool area below. So if you are looking for some piece and quiet you will definitely want your room to be on the opposite side of the pool.

Even more, make sure you visit the Legacy Club Rooftop for a cocktail and view. While your up there, check out the case of gold. If it is not windy, the view alone is worth the elevator ride to the top. Further, if you are looking for a steak dinner ensure to visit Barry’s downtown prime.

Here is a local hint, if you are on Circa’s mailing list you will get notified of promotions. You can get the “All In” summer stay package which not only includes two night room for $300. Circa provides credits for both the Legacy Club and Barry’s. So I managed to both eat and drink on the house. You gotta love Vegas! You can find more information on Circa site.

Another local hint, Uber and Lyft pickup is done in the Garage Mahal. You can access it from the second level bridge.

In conclusion, Circa is my downtown hotel to stay at. Chiefly, I enjoy the newness of the hotel along with the amenities. The Stadium Swim and Worlds largest Sports book are enough reason to visit. I always stop by when I am near Fremont Street. Good or bad, Circa is 21+ establishment.
