The D

The D is part of the Fremont Street Experience. Check out the LongBar or Vue. Plenty of games and tables too. I always visit Manneken Pis.
The D

The D Casino, formerly Fitzgeralds, stands tall at 34 stories with 639 rooms in the heart of downtown Fremont Street. Built in 1980 and owned and operated by Derek and Greg Stevens. They also own the Circa Resort two blocks away. Because of this, they have played a significant role in revitalizing the Fremont Street Experience.

From flair bartenders who mix drinks with style. Or catching live performances by your favorite artists at Fremont Street Experience. There is no shortage of entertainment. The lively atmosphere on Fremont Street ensures that you’ll have a memorable experience during your visit.

In addition, for those who enjoy Keno, The D hosts the world’s largest Keno board. It’s a unique feature that adds to the hotel’s distinctive character. In addition, The D boasts a 42,000 sq foot casino floor. Wide variety of games, slots or table games, you’ll find an extensive selection there.

For example, they offers three restaurants, including a steakhouse, where you can indulge in delicious meals. Additionally, the hotel is home to some popular bars, making it an ideal spot for socializing and unwinding after a day of exploring the city. There is also a coffee shop near the elevators.

The D LongBar

Whenever I am on Fremont Street I like to stop in at the LongBar. It stretches the entire length of the Casino. LongBar offers a spot to grab a drink, watch the game, or hang with friends. LongBar is a 30 seat with personal machines. It also has multiple large flat screen TVs playing the latest sports.

However, I need to go up to check out the Vue Bar. It is both the inside and outside seating. Located on the second floor and is an outdoor patio. A place to go where you can enjoy cold drinks, great slots, and a view unlike any other. Watch the bartenders flip, mix, and pour some of the most colorful drinks and concoctions.

While at there sure to go over to the main entrance to see the Manneken Pis. Flemish for “little man pee”. The bronze statue was installed by owner in honor of his Belgian heritage and sense of humor. There is a plaque. Manneken Pis is a replica of the original in Belgium At 400 plus years old. It is one of only 3 licensed replicas in the world. For instance, this statue has been deemed a good luck charm. It always brings me good luck.

In conclusion, The D Casino is more than just a place to stay, it is an experience. The D is one of several main Fremont Street hotels that make up the Las Vegas Experience. Lastly, for more information check out The D site. A fun spot in the heart of downtown Fremont Street. I always stop in. Dont forget about Manneken Pis.
