MGM Grand is a long standing institution of Las Vegas. I remember coming here many many times. For example, just to enjoy a show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The MGM is what Vegas is all about. I always have fun when I visit this place. You can find it on Tropicana Ave and Las Vegas Blvd ( 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 ).
In the past, I use to visit the lions. The lions are no longer here. But, you can visit the lion at the Lion Habitat. This place has plenty space to stay too. You can pick from one of the over 6500 fine rooms. It also has a very large pool area where you spend a relaxing day recovering from the previous night.
MGM Shows
In addition to the big name shows in the Garden Arena, there are several other shows you can take in. They have KA Cirque du Soleil, which is a sight to be seen. Further more, they have the 21 Emmy award winning David Copperfield. Also the famous Jabbawockeez. So much to do here.
MGM Eats
Besides all the shows, there are plenty of places to eat. Located in the District you can find plenty to eat. For example, the Iron Chef Morimoto, Top Chef Tom Colicchio, and the famous Wofgang Puck. If you are looking for a not so formal restaurant, there is also a huge food court. To demonstrate, the food court has the sorts of Nathans, Johnny Rockets, Haagen Dazs, Pas Asian, Bonannos New York Pizza, and others.
MGM Grand Gaming
Nevertheless, if you want to gamble, dont be disappointed. To illustrate, the Grand has over 170,000 square feet of gambling space. They have everything from the Sports Book to tables, and machines. Also, they have a new area for online betting 24/7.
Moreover, no matter what you want to do, this place has it all. Soon the brand new A’s baseball park will be across the street where the now closed Tropicana. Further, you can even catch the Las Vegas Monorail to other casinos. Such as the Paris, Flamingo, Harrahs, Westgate, and Sahara.
MGM Grand Express
In conclusion, if you want to get the real experience of Las Vegas be sure to check out the MGM Grand. Most importantly, this place emulates everything Las Vegas. I always have fun. But be aware, like everything on The Strip, it can be expensive. Lastly, you can find more information on the MGM Grand site.
