Phin Smith coffee is a Vietnamese coffee shop. This is the first review of a coffee shop on Las Vegas Locals Reviews. This a great spot to visit for a alternative to the huge national chains. In addition to coffee, they also serve up a variety of teas. You can find this place in the southwest. It is three exits away from the Durango Casino on Jones Boulevard ( 7208 S Jones Blvd #101, Las Vegas, NV 89118 ).
First and fore most, there is most likely gonna be a line. For example, when I went there was a line that snaked all the round the entire store. My guess would be about 25 people. Do not the length of the line discourage you. The staff is very experienced and keeps the line moving. For that reason, I believe the wait time was between 15 to 20 minutes. I will say that it is worth waiting.
Once you get to the front of the line. Your barista will take your order. They are super friendly and very helpful. I told them that this was my first time visiting. So because of this, they made sure to tell me about the coffee and provided all the help I needed. Their motto is it is all about you. And the service I received made me totally feel that way. Subsequently, there is really good service and I never felt rushed to order.
Great Service
We did not have to pay until after we received our coffee. So while I waited I looked for a spot to sit down. It was a pleasure to find plenty of open seating trough out the store. Even with the long line and all the people there was plenty of space. The vast majority people took their coffee to go and freed up space to sit. Albeit, there were some people who where there the entire time I was there.
After our coffee was ready our barista called me up to pick up the coffee. Before paying we were asked to give our coffee a try to ensure it was to our expectations. In addition, we were asked if there was anything that we wanted to change to ensure our coffee was to our liking.
I found the coffee to be perfectly fine. Once we were happy with our order, then we finally were asked to pay. I ordered two large coffees and bill was $12.50 for the two plus taxes. I was more than happy to tip because of the excellent service.
Phin Smith Coffee
In addition, I ordered the Banana Coffee. This is made with coffee mixed with a banana and milk blend. One of the most popular selection. This is was suggested to me when I asked around. I actually liked it very much and may become my go to favorite cup of joe.
To illustrate, the first coffee I ordered was a Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese coffee) over ice. Made with traditional black Vietnamese coffee over sweetened condensed milk that is poured over ice. This results in a caffeinated sweet drink that is very good.
Menu
Because there is a large selection of blended coffees to select from. I think next time I will have to try the PB&C. This is coffee with peanut butter. Beyond coffee there are also a variety of teas to select from. Furthermore, you should visit their menu to see the full selection.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a good coffee experience you definitely give Phin Smith a try. Remember, if you see a line, wait it out. It goes fast and the coffees are worth the wait. I enjoyed both the service, atmosphere, and the coffee. Lastly, for more information visit their site.
