The Pass Casino is another popular casino in the Water Street District. It was first opened in 1961 and was owned by Boyd Gaming from 1993 to 2020. The casino has over 350 slot machines, table games, and a sports book. This is another favorite of mine when I visit downtown. Located downtown Henderson, next to the Rainbow Casino. The Pass Casino is open 24/7 and offers gaming, dining, entertainment, table games, and music. The Pass Casino also has two different dining options. Additionally, there are two bars and lounges – The Pass Bar and Silver Bar – that are always open. Occasionally, there will be entertainment playing.
It is owned and operated by DeSimone Gaming. The casino is a quick 10-minute drive to its sister property, the Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino. The Pass has a parking garage that comes in handy when it get busy. I park there at times when an event is going on like the Hot Rod Days.
There are many other things to check out. You can visit the other casinos The Emerald Island Casino and the Rainbow Casino. There are some good bars that offer music. For example the Gold Mine Tavern and BackYard. There is even the Lovelady brewery.
In conclusion, The Pass Casino is a casino in downtown Henderson that offers a variety of gaming options as well as dining and entertainment. It has been around since 1961.
